This project was a new plant for Freres Engineered Wood. The buiding alone is approximately 4 acres. Designed for manufacturing Freres Lumber Co.’s Mass Panel Plywood (MPP) product. The building has 45′ eave height and 7 bridge cranes. Approximately 70,000 sq ft has hydronic (in slab) heat. The building uses polygal wall lites for natural daylighting along with 72 translucent fire/smoke hatches. Excellent team of subcontractors that were all committed to the schedule. The manufacturing equipment was shipped from Germany on a pre-set date and we absolutely had to be ready to have it set in place when it arrived.
