Johnson Family Orthodontics partnered with CD Redding to build a new two-story building in south Salem on Commercial Street. JFO’s office occupies the entire 6,456 sf of the second floor. The first floor is lease space. To solve supply-chain issues, CD Redding collaborated with the architect and brought in Freres Wood to replace the second-floor joists with the Freres Mass Ply Panel (MPP) product. Inside, the lobby’s high ceilings, tall windows, lighting, and a strategically placed mural wall guide visitors up the green staircase to the clinic entrance. The clinic itself is bright and open, with playful colors and materials, and plenty of natural light coming in through ample windows.
